I have practiced those sections that are highlighted in blue color and made a compressed file, in which you can find all scripts, prompts, xml and Sql scripts.
I practiced twice on both UCCX version 7 and 10 and both versions worked. The database I used was SqlServer2008 Express, which is free downloaded from Microsoft.  If in any case you have no knowledge how to setup the database for UCCX, I have a post that guides you how to do it.
