H323 and SIP is two protocols for end devices to register. Just choose one of them, if you use one.
clip_image014
To H323, choose correct port number in terms of real network, normally, we won’t change it.
clip_image015
To SIP, we enable TCP port

Choose it if you need interwork

In VCS

These two options will make network function and route choosing different.
Expressway doesn’t support that end devices register to local, no matter it is core or edge due to no local zone. It will forward to Neighbor, traversal or remote system according to Trunk.
To make sip end devices register to local, we have to create SIP domain, otherwise, sip end devices only use alias name to register VCS with the format like XXXX@IP.
So it’s not good to configurations and changes in future.

Next is to register end devices on VCS
