single number reach configuration

Configure Softkey template
I have created the Mobile Connect Softkey template –  Mobile Connect User, every User Device Profile with Mobile Connect feature need to use this Softkey template. Below are the steps:
  • Go to Device – Device Settings – Device profile
  • Select Profile Description and Contains from dropdown lists. Type the user name in the field and click find. Please note it is not necessarily to type in the full name.
  • From the Softkey Template dropdown list, choose DDB Mobile Connect User softkey template. Then save it.
Enable Mobile Connect under user profile
Mobile Connect check box need to be checked under every user profile. Below are the steps:
  • Go to User Management – End user.
  • Search the user.
  • Go to the user configuration page, scroll to the middle of the page and check the Enable Mobility check box. Save it.
Configure Remote Destination Profile
Each user need to have a RDP. Below are the steps:
  • Go to Device – Device Settings – Remote Destination Profile.
  • Click Add New button, type in the Name (better to use something like NickW_RDP), Description (use Mobility user Remote Destination Profile). Choose the user’s User ID from the User ID dropdown list, choose the Device Pool DP-AKL-SRST from dropdown list, choose SampleAudioSource from the User Hold Audio Source and Network Hold MOH Audio Source dropdown list. Privacy – choose OFF. The Calling Search Space and the Rerouting Calling Search Space are a bit tricky – go to the user’s Device Profile and use the same CSS under the user’s extn. Save it.
  • Click the Add a New Remote Destination button. Type in the Name of the RD (better to use something like NickW_RD). Type in the user cell phone number, put “1” in front of it. Leave the rest parameters default. Check the Mobile Phone check box. Save it.
  • Click Add a new DN. Type in the user’s extn, choose the route partition where this extn is reside (search the extn by going to Call Routing – Directory Number, if don’t know which route partition the extn is reside), the rest of the parameters will auto populated. Click save.
  • Go back to the Remote Destination page, check the Line Association check box next to the extn. Save it.
Logout and Login
  • Ask the user logout from his/her desk phone then log back in, so that the Mobile Connect can take effect. After doing this, user should see the Mobility softkey button appear under two call status: on hook and when the call is connected. If you can’t see the Mobility button, please scroll to the next page from your phone screen.
How to use Mobile Connect
  • Make a call to user extn, when you pick up the call, press the Mobility button, and then select send call to Mobile Phone. See if you receive the call from your mobile phone.
  • To reverse back to your desk phone you just need to simply hand up your mobile phone.
